( 'J' stands for Jeremy, 'R' stands for Rachel, bolded print stands for the reporter. )
J: Surfing is the best thing. When you're surfing, you feel free. That's how it's similar to flying. When you're having a bad day, you want to go surfing because it puts a smile on your face.
You have bad days?
J: My sisters give me bad days.
R: That's not very nice to say.
J: They are very bad girls.
R: No, they're not. I would love to do more films. But Jeremy and I are on cue about what I'm going to be when I grow up. I will be a -one, two, three...
J and R in unison: Marine biologist!
J: Jason Isaacs is really supportive on the set. He helps you out.
R: But he's scared of dogs, ghosts-he's scared of everything, even the wind. He had to make friends with Rebel (the St. Bernard that plays Nanny in the film). He would go, "Good boy, good boy, Rebel." Then Rebel would jump and Jason would go, "Oh my God" (in a trembling voice).
What was the coolest thing during this filming?
R: Getting to work with Jeremy.
J: And my favorite experience was not working with Rachel. On the days that Rachel was off the set I went, yes, bring it on! No, it was enjoyable working with Rachel, but the most fun I've had on the set was flying. With Rachel!
Were there accidents on the set?
J: I got stabbed by the sword a lot. I got stabbed on the stomach. I have a scar to prove it. It's right by my belly button. (He raises his shirt to expose his tummy.)
Favorite actress?
J: I like Ludivine Sagnier (Tinker Bell). She is a total knockout. Have you seen "Swimming Pool?" (This is Ludivine's R-rated film that was a hit at last year's Cannes Film Festival.)
Reporter: Yes.
J: Can you tell me about it? Because I'm not allowed to see it. I want to know every detail.
Favorite actor?
J: My favorite actor is Mel Gibson. Hee-hee (in a high-pitched voice).
R: Careful, Jeremy.
J: He's such an interesting guy to watch. He's never been in a movie where he's boring. And Jim Carrey. He's the funniest guy on earth.
What are you going to do with your earnings from the movie?
R: Spend it on booze. No, I'm kidding.
J: I want to buy a huge sandwich at Subway. I'm putting it in my savings account.
Next movie?
J: I want to do "Romeo and Juliet" with Rachel.
How was your costume?
J: It was itchy at first but once you get used to it, it was the coolest costume in the world. We were in harness every day. It was the coolest thing to be airborne for a long period of time. I loved it.
R: It was pretty painful, though.
You were trained to fly in a circus, correct?
J: The circus has these trampolines and your feet literally go up on the ceiling. And you can do a double back turn while midair. It was awesome. It was my favorite thing in Australia other than Rachel.
R: Was I really your favorite thing in Australia?
J: Yes, Rachel, you were...
