Have any of you read the original story by J.M. Barrie? I just started on it. In the book, Nana is a Newfoundland dog but in the movie she's a St. Bernard.

I finished the book today!! I loved it! I'm gonna type some of the differences between the book and movie sooooo if you don't wanna know, don't read further. *spoiler space* *space* In the movie, Wendy was "Red-handed Jill"....in the book John was "Red-handed Jack" In the book there is no Aunt Millicent In the book, there was no kissing between Peter and Wendy on Captain Hook's ship. WHY couldn't they have stayed true to the book?? *sob* In the book the mermaids didn't act scary or look it. In the book there is no "fairy dance" between Peter and Wendy. In the movie there is a scene between Peter and Wendy where he tells her that the word "love" offends him but in the book that scene isn't there. That's all I can think of right now.

Yeah, I wished they would have followed the book more closely...let Wendy and Peter see each other again. It would be less heartbreaking. Also, don't have them kiss either. Do you know if J.M. Barrie wrote anymore books?

I know, I wish he wrote more books! He was a very strange man Oh i'm waiting to see if this lady writing Peter Pan 2 is as good as J.M. Barrie oh bloody how i wish they weren't making a part two! If Barrie wanted there to be a part 2 would he have not said so? Would he have not written it then?

I've heard of that Peter Pan 2 but I've never read it. Has it been written yet? Yeah, people should just leave the sequels alone unless the original author wanted a sequel. It would be just like them making a Peter Pan 2 movie but without Jeremy...it would be awful. He is the original Peter pan and no one can replace him!

She's from Germany though...that's why she wanted the book written in English. So she can read English. Sabrina, I got through reading that book a few days ago. I really liked it!
