She wrote a ton of books back in the 80's but she died in 1986 and now they have this guy who writes similiar to her to write the books. The books still say V.C. Andrews on the covers but it's really Andrew Niederman that writes them. I've read all of the old ones that she actually wrote. I've read "Flowers in the attic" only twice though. Sabrina, have you read any of the Casteel series? I've read "Web of dreams" twice. It is so GOOD!!! The second time I read it, I cried and cried. Do you have these books in German or English? I started reading these when I was 17. My stupid PRUDE library wouldn't let me check them out because I wasn't 18 yet. I was PISSED.

yeah my mum actually owns all her series so of course I read the casteel series!! You know, I just love the girl's name...I mean, Heaven- Leigh!! How cool is that? I always cry reading her books, they're just awesome! and they're like some kind of therapy for me because it kinda helps me to forget about reality...I've already read a lot of books but she's definitely my favourite author! Since they're my mum's books, they're in German, of course lol

Yeah..Heaven-Leigh...heavenly. A play on words. I know what you mean. The people in her books seem like real people..you actually feel like you're IN the story!! I found a V.C. Andrews website and it said that her books have been translated into a lot of other languages. They had the German and French titles of her books. The translation is different than the original.
