Chapter 12: Section 1
~~~One week before the end of summer vacation.~~~
It was now one week before the end of summer vacation when you would have to go back to school in Bozeman, Montana. You had a great summer with Jeremy. You felt as if you were soulmates and you didn’t want to leave him. He was your first true love and you didn’t know if it was going to last the distance with you in Montana and Jeremy working his way up to being a bigger celebrity. You decided that you would go to school in Montana and when you had breaks from school you would come down to California to pro surf and spend some time with Jeremy. You didn’t want to be home schooled because it wasn’t your thing and if you moved to California you would miss your friends from Montana. Moving would always be an option. You had a great summer. You became an excellent surfer and stared in the movie with Jeremy and Cameron. It became a big success and you became a tad more famous. Although some people didn’t know who you were. Cameron tried to win you back, but you were way too close to Jeremy to ever let that happen. Carrie went back to Montana with Parker and they decided that they would visit each other some how every weekend. They became inseparable. You and Jeremy became the same way, but he was your first true love and you had no idea if there was someone out there for you. He changed your life completely by teaching you how to surf which opened the doors for you and made you who you are today, a pro surfer and an actress. You would have never been able to do any of it without Jeremy or Jessica. They made your life complete and you would always remember them. You had no idea how you were going to live life when you went back to California. Would people know how much your life had changed during your one summer in California? Would you have a bunch of fans and not be able to go anywhere without them screaming your name? The people in LA weren’t exactly like that. Some saw celebrities often and didn’t care about you because you weren’t that famous, yet. You were so excited about going back to Montana and telling your friends and family about your success. Your family some of it because you had to get permission from them to become a pro surfer, but they didn’t know everything else. Your brother didn’t believe a word of it because you had never talked about becoming an actress or a surfer. Before school got out you had no idea what to do about life. All you worried about was getting good grades and working your way into college with a full scholarship. Before you had wanted to go to college some place warm like California, but now you realized how much you missed Bozeman without all the traffic and people swarming the streets. Without all the pollution and crime. But then again you liked the beach and the warm weather. You liked surfing and snorkeling. You would get to do all that stuff when you returned to California during the breaks. It would be like having two homes with completely different lifestyles. Maybe you wouldn’t tell anyone of your summer in California. Maybe you would just leave your life the way it was in Montana and then come to California and live a totally different lifestyle. You still had one week before you had to make all these huge decisions. You would just have to wait and see how everything turns out by the end.
What will happen with Alexa? Will her and Jeremy stay together? Find out next time on CSD. Dun dun DUN! (Lol I’m trying to make it sound like a soap opera even though I hate them. Oh well.)
Don’t worry this is not the end. There is still more to come. I haven’t decided how much, but this is definitely not the end. PLEASE tell me what you think!!!
Chapter 12: Section 2
You and Jeremy spent all of your free time with each other. There were so many pictures of the two of you in the tabloids and all his fans were always glaring at you. You and Jeremy had a great summer with each and were madly in love with each other. You had some fights over stuff like having little free time and screaming fans. You were starting to become more and more famous so there were more guys asking you out and Jeremy was extremely jealous, but the same thing happened with Jeremy and he was one of Hollywood’s hottest stars. Jeremy and you made a great couple and spent a lot of your time running and hiding from fans. You still didn’t know if this was the life for you, but you didn’t want to ruin everything you had accomplished just because you had so many fans following you everywhere you went. You were living the life that everyone dreamt about, but was it everything that you thought it would be? Let’s see... you had the guy of your dreams, your dream job, and you got to spend your whole summer in LA, but was it really worth all the attention? You had no clue and you had to go back to Montana in 2 days. What were you going to say to all of your classmates? Did they know what happened? You would just have to wait and see what happens and hope for the best.
NOT THE END YET!!!
Chapter 12: Section 3
It was two days before you had to go back to school in Montana and leave your life in California until you had a break from school. You didn’t want to be home schooled because you would miss all of your friends. Besides that was the best part of going to school, getting to see your friends and talk with them. Jeremy was planning on meeting you tonight so that you could spend all of tomorrow packing for going back to Montana. He had the whole night planned and he said that it was going to be amazing. You were so excited because Jeremy was such a great boyfriend. You were also really sad because this would be your last date with Jeremy for awhile, probably not until Thanksgiving break or even Christmas vacation. You were going to have to find the perfect outfit so that Jeremy would always remember you looking fantastic on your last night together. You knew that he could probably go out with any girl that he wanted to because he was famous, not to mention hot. You hoped that would never happen because you loved him very much and you didn’t want him to break your heart due to the long distance relationship. He could meet a very pretty girl and forget about you completely and you could do nothing to stop it because you would be in a different state. You prayed and prayed that Jeremy would never do that to you. You knew that he loved you, but anything could happen while you were in Montana living a normal life with your friends. Carrie was the only one that knew about your summer and she promised that she wouldn’t tell anyone unless you told them yourself. If they found out some other way she would completely deny it and say that you guys just spent the time seeing the sites and going to the beach. You woke up from a long nights rest and totally freaked out about what you were going to wear for your date with Jeremy. Whenever you were with Jeremy you always had to look your best because there was ALWAYS paparazzi following you around. You tried to disguise yourself sometimes so that the people in your hometown wouldn’t recognize you because that would blow everything. You knew so many people that liked Jeremy and that would be completely jealous if they found out that you were dating Jeremy, or they would do the complete opposite and try to use you to get to Jeremy. You ran down the stairs to the smell of french toast souffle that your aunt was cooking for you. She knew that it was your favorite so she decided to make it for you before you had to go home. You were so sad that you would have to leave your cousins and everyone. They said that you could come back anytime and stay with them. You had gotten to know them very well over the summer. You had never spent that much time with your relatives before. Three months was a long time away from home and you missed your family and friends very much, but none of that could never make up for the fact that you would have to leave Jeremy behind. He meant so much to you and you knew everything about each other. You could tell each other everything and you had complete trust in each other. He was like your best friend. Someone that was always there for you and brought you up when you were down. “So what are you doing today?” your aunt asked you. “While tonight I’m going on a date with Jeremy so I need to find the perfect outfit to wear.”
Chapter 12: Section 4
“That’s fine. Just make sure that you aren’t gone for too long because we want to do stuff with you before you leave. You’ve been so busy with everything that we don’t see you much anymore.” your aunt said. “I will. I’m really sorry about that. I really like spending time with Jeremy and surfing takes up a bunch of my time. This is my last night with Jeremy for awhile, but tomorrow we aren’t doing anything together because he’s going to be busy and I need to pack.” you said. “Okay well have a fun time with Jeremy. What time do you think that you will be back from shopping?”
“It may be awhile because the paparazzi are starting to notice that I’m becoming famous. It’s not like they are always there, but they do notice me.”
“Well, you have your cell phone so if you need anything at all just give me a call. Have fun.”
You finished your breakfast and put your dishes in the dishwasher. Then you slowly walked out the door and into the pool house. You did a little packing so that you wouldn’t have to much the next day and put all of your dirty clothes in the hamper so that they could be washed, and ready to be packed. You couldn’t believe that you would have to leave this all behind in less than two days. It was nice here in California. Warm and sunny with great beaches. In Montana summer only lasted for less than 3 months and then it was all over and the leaves started to fall. You went into your room and pulled out a light blue sheer American Eagle tee and white board shorts. You went into the bathroom and pulled your hair into a messy bun and applied a little eyeshadow. Then you put on a pair of blue adidas and put your purse around your shoulder and your sunglasses on. You were finally ready to begin your last full day in California.
Sorry it's so short. I was trying to get a little posted since you guys have waited so long. PLEASE post comments and suggestions.
Chapter 12: Section 5
You drove down to LA so that you could find the perfect outfit for your last date with Jeremy for awhile. You went in 5 different stores until you found the perfect outfit. It was a dress like the one Kate Hudson wore in How to Lose a Guy in 10 days except a little shorter. Then you bought a pair of gold heels with fake diamonds on the straps. Later you were going to get your hair done at your favorite beauty salon. You had no idea what Jeremy had planned for the evening, but why not look your best. You hated really fancy restaurants because you didn’t like that kind of food so you hoped that Jeremy wasn’t going to go all out. When you were about to walk out of the shop you saw a huge crowd of people waiting outside of the door screaming your name. ‘Oh no!’ you thought to yourself. You didn’t want to be stuck there for a long time so you slowly crept over to the back door and went out into the alley behind the store. You started walking out of the alley when you bumped into someone. After awhile you realized it was Jeremy. “Jeremy what are you doing here?” you asked. “Oh hey Alexa. I heard a bunch of fans screaming your name so I decided to see what was up. What are you doing in the alley?” he laughed. “Hmmm...I think you already know the answer to that question. I was trying to hide from all the fans. I don’t think I can live like this. I’m not like you. I freak out when people try to pry into my personal life.”
“Trust me Alexa. You don’t have it as bad as I do. I’ve been torn to shreds and have had different articles of clothing ripped off so that they can sell them on ebay. Just think all these people admire you and look up to you. I’m very lucky because you could have just about any guy, but instead you’re going out with me.”
“Same here. You know how many girls are crazy about you? I was one of them. I even have stories about you online. Whoops I shouldn’t have said that. Anyways I’m leaving tomorrow and we won’t see each other for awhile. How do I know that you won’t find someone else?”
“Alexa you know that I’m crazy about you. I wouldn’t leave you just because I’m not going to see you everyday. You have to trust me. How long have we been going out?”
“Almost three months.”
“Have I ever cheated on you?”
“Not that I know of.”
“I haven’t.”
“How do you know that you won’t find someone else back in Montana?”
“Because know one liked me before so why would they like me now? I never had a bunch of guys crazy about me before? I know that they only want to go out with me because I’m starting to become famous. You on the other hand started dating me before you knew that I was famous. That means a lot to me. You have no idea. Everyone just wants to use me just like Pryce and Cameron did. It makes me want to cry just by saying their names.”
“Alexa remember how hard it was for me to get you to be my girlfriend. I didn’t give up. I just kept on trying until you finally broke up with Cameron and decided to go out with me.”
“Jeremy, I wanted to go out with you from the beginning, but I didn’t know the real you. I didn’t know if you were a stuck up little rich star or not. Now I know that you’re not. You take time out of your very busy schedule just to see me.”
“You are a lot busier than I am. You have surfing AND acting. I just act.”
“You’re still more famous. Anyways what’s the plan for tonight?”
“I’m not telling it’s going to be a surprise. I see that you bought something to wear for tonight. Can I see?” he said trying to grab the bag away from you. “Nope. It’s a surprise.” You said back with a giggle. “So now how do I get out of here? They are still standing in front of the shop. Wait I have an idea.” you said starting to push Jeremy. “Wait what is it?” Jeremy asked confused. “You’ll see.” you said. You put on a baseball cap and stuffed your hair into it. Then you put a pair of huge red sunglasses on. You grabbed Jeremy’s hand and pulled him to just about the end of the alley. Then you quickly gave Jeremy a kiss. “Bye Jeremy.” you said while you pushed him out of the alley. “You might want to start running.” you smiled. Jeremy started running down the street. “Look everyone it’s the hottie Jeremy Sumpter!!!” you screamed at the top of your lungs and pointed in the direction that Jeremy was running. All the fans screamed at ran off after Jeremy. ‘Good it worked!’ you said to yourself and started walking in the opposite direction.
Chapter 12: Section 6 You kept walking until you had to go to the salon for your hair appointment. They ended up doing your hair like this. . They also did your makeup with a light gold eyeshadow, volume enhancing mascara, blush, and a lip gloss with a faint pink tint to it. You loved it. It was the perfect look on you. You were going to look gorgeous for the date tonight with Jeremy. After you got your hair done you decided to go home since it was almost 5 and Jeremy was going to pick you up around 6:30pm. When you got home you decided to walk around the house outside to the pool house so that your aunt didn’t see your hair before you were done with the whole look. You went into your room and slipped into your new dress. Then you walked over to your 180 degree mirror and looked at yourself from different angles. You looked amazing. Now for the final part, the shoes and jewelry. You put on you new pair of shoes, a pair of diamond earrings, and a necklace. Then you stood back in front of the mirror. Your look was complete and you were finally ready for your date with Jeremy. You couldn’t believe how much you had changed this summer and before you would never have been able to afford all of this. This might become your homecoming or prom outfit. That’s if you could find someone to go with. No one could compare to Jeremy. It was now 6:15pm so you walked back to the main house so that your aunt could see you before you left. The moment you walked through the door her jaw dropped. You twirled around and put on a great smile. “How do I look?” you asked her even though you already knew the answer. “Stunning! You look so grown up. I wish your parents could see this. Wait let me go get the digital camera.” she said running upstairs to grab her brand new camera that you bought for her for letting you stay there. Moments later she came running down the stairs with the camera in her hand. “Do you have to?” you asked. “Yes of course. You look amazing and your parents have to see. Plus I have to get pictures so that I can send them to the paparazzi.” she joked. “You wouldn’t dare.”
“Maybe. You know how much I can get for these pix.”
“Aunt Cheryl!!!”
“Don’t worry I wouldn’t do that. They are just for the relatives. They don’t know that you’re famous. No pose.”
You posed for some pictures while your aunt went crazy with the camera. “Alexa, have you ever thought about becoming a model? You’re very photogenic.” asked your aunt. “That’s what everyone says, but you know how much work that would be with acting and surfing. Besides I do a lot of photo shoots already.”
“You should really think about when you need a break from acting or surfing. Maybe you can do it in Montana because you can’t surf there.”
“I don’t know. Maybe I will just so you will stop.”
Just then you heard Jeremy walking up the front steps and you heard him ring the door bell. You quickly had your aunt check your hair and then you opened the door. Jeremy’s jaw dropped as he saw you all dressed up. He had a bouquet of red and white roses in his hand and was wearing a tux. He looked handsome and you could tell that he was very nervous. “Alexa. You look...gorgeous.” he stuttered and gave you a kiss and you saw a flash come from your aunt’s camera. “Jeremy. You look...handsome.” you said imitating him. “I need to get some more pix.” said your aunt. “I just got her a digital camera.” you hinted to Jeremy. You and Jeremy posed for a bunch of pictures and you had to beg your aunt to let you leave. Jeremy took your hand and led you out the door to his car. It was not his limo because he did not want to draw too much attention on your last night. He wanted it to be private even though he knew that would probably not happen. “So where are you taking me? Please nothing too fancy.” you asked him. “It’s a surprise.” said Jeremy with a smile.
Chapter 12: Section 7
Jeremy took you to a small seafood and pasta restaurant on the beach. It was perfect and you had the perfect view of the ocean from where you were sitting. “So what do you think?” Jeremy asked you. “It’s great Jeremy. I love seafood. My family and I get seafood on New Years and stuff but it’s nothing like the seafood here because we don’t live near the ocean.”
“I’m glad you liked it. I didn’t feel like going to some place really fancy because I knew we would run into paparazzi. Also you said you didn’t want to go to anyplace too fancy.”
Moments later a waiter came up to you. He looked like he was a couple years older than you with light brown hair and gorgeous green eyes. You noticed that he was checking you out a little and you assumed that Jeremy did too because seconds later he put his arm around you. “Hey I’m Derick and I’ll be your waiter. Can I get you anything to drink?” he asked while he handed out the menus. “I’ll have a Dr. Pepper.” you said. “I’ll have the same.” said Jeremy. “Okay. Take a few minutes to look over the menus while I go get you guys your drinks.”
“Jeremy, what is going to happen to us when I go back to Montana?”you asked a little worried as to what he was going to say next. “I think that we should just try to stay together and hope for the best. If we truly like each other we will be able to handle the long distance. Besides you’ll be able to come here for breaks.” he said. “Great! I was hoping you were going to say that. I didn’t want you to break up with me on my last night here in LA.” You said with a smile. Then Derick came back with your drinks. “So have you two decided what you want to have for dinner?”
“I’ll have the crab and shrimp pasta.” you said and handed back the menu to Derick. “Yum that sounds good. I guess I’ll get the same.” said Jeremy and he did the same. Derick began to stare for awhile and he didn’t move. “What are you staring at?” asked Jeremy a little annoyed. “Oh sorry. You just look familiar. Where have I seen you before?” Derick said to you. “I don’t know, but you look awfully familiar as well.” you said.
“What?” you asked not sure if you really wanted to know the answer. “Remember that one day when I said that I had interviews, but I really didn’t?”
“Ya.”
“Well really I was in Montana and I bought a house near you.” “Really?”
“Yep. So when I have time off I can fly to Montana and visit you.”
“That’s so great! Thanx.” you said and gave Jeremy a hug. You had the biggest smile on your face. After dinner you said goodbye to Derick and thanked him for taking care of the bill. Then you gave him your phone number so that you both could see if you had any classes together. You could tell that Jeremy was jealous, but you assured him that you and Derick were just friends and nothing more. “I have a surprise for you.” Jeremy said as you both walked out of the restaurant to his car. “Jeremy you have done so much for me already. You don’t have to do anything more.”
“But I insist. Now put on this.” he said and handed you a blindfold. “Is this really necessary?”
“Of course. For some reason blindfolds are always used with surprises. Here let me”he said as he gently put the blindfold over your eyes. “Can you at least give me a hint?” you said facing in the other direction since you couldn’t see. “Well I can tell you that it’s two things.” Jeremy said as he started the car. “Jeremy. I feel so bad that I didn’t get you anything. I should have. You have done so much for me and I have done nothing for you.”
“Don’t worry about it. I want to spoil you. It’s my job.”
Ten minutes later you heard Jeremy park the car and turn it off. “Here we are.” Jeremy said as he begun to take off your blindfold. You opened your eyes and realized that you were at a car lot. “What are we doing here?” you asked sort of confused as to what you were doing there. “Well you know how you were telling me that you have to walk home everyday from school even in the winter because you have to share a car with your brother?”
“Ya.” you said knowing where he was headed. “Well I don’t want you to freeze anymore. I want to buy you a car. Pick anyone of them.”
“Jeremy I can’t except this. It’s too much. Trust me you have done enough.”
“Come on Alexa. Most girls would die if their boyfriends or anyone gave them a car.”
“I know, but that’s just not me. I’ve never gotten anything for free. I’ve worked for everything that I own. I don’t want you to spend your money on me.”
“It’s okay Alexa. I love you and I just want you to have the best. You are nothing like all the other girls that I’ve dated. They were all spoiled and would have never turned the offer I just gave you down. I really want to do this for you. I insist. Just pick a car.”
“Fine Jeremy.” you said and gave him a kiss on the cheek. You walked around until you found the car you always wanted. You didn’t want anything too nice because it wouldn’t be practical. You picked out a silver and black mini cooper. It had leather seats, an awesome stereo, and it was a convertible. “This is what I want.” you said pointing to it and smiling. “Are you sure?”
“Yep. I’ve wanted one ever since I saw the Italian Job.”
“Okay. I’ll go find someone.” said Jeremy and then he walked away to the main building. You couldn’t believe that Jeremy was doing all of this for you. He was the best boyfriend that you ever had. You just felt bad that you didn’t give him anything. He must have worked so hard on planning all of this. You loved him so much and you never wanted to leave. Moments later Jeremy came back with a sales guy. “So this is the car you want young lady?” the sales guy asked you. “Yes.”
“Well then I’m going to need your address so that we can have it sent to you in Montana.” he said and you gave him your address. Jeremy payed for the car with his credit card and the two of you headed back to his car. “Now for your next surprise.” said Jeremy as he put the blindfold on you once again.
