okay guys, I'm glad you like it!!! Here I go again...
When Hilary woke up the next morning, her head laid on Jeremy's bare chest, his arms were wrapped around her body and her left hand was placed on his cheek. She moved her head a little and looked around in the room. The reddish light of a rising sun shone through the window so she looked at the clock next to the bed. It was only 7am. Hilary yawned and laid her head down again. Since it was still early in the morning, she didn't see a reason to hurry up and go home already. Also she couldn't say she felt uncomfortable being held by Jeremy. She liked the feel of his warm, sweet smelling breath on her face, his smooth skin under her hands and the sound of his heart beating constantly right under her head. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes and sighed. 'He smells so good' she thought. She still didn't understand why exactly she was lying here with him, with a guy she barely knew, a guy who seemed to see so much more in her than all the other people she knew or even her boyfriend, even though he didn't know a lot more about her than her name. 'Don't be stupid' she thought. 'Okay, he let you sleep in his bed and yeah, he told you you're beautiful, but that doesn't mean that he likes you...he's probably just a nice guy who feels sorry for a girl who just doesn't seem to fit in' Hilary told herself as she felt the first hesitant feelings for Jeremy stirring inside her. 'Plus, you already have a boyfriend' She slowly stood up and covered the sleeping Jeremy with a blanket. After she gave him a kiss on the cheek, she went out of the room to look for the bathroom. She slowly opened the door next to Jeremy's room and realized that she had found it as she saw Jess standing in front of her, brushing her teeth. "Good morning" Hilary said smiling and Jess put away her toothbrush, wiped her mouth and grinned. "Good morning Sleeping Beauty. So you finally woke up?" Hilary laughed. "Yeah, I already woke up last night, pretty confused seeing Jeremy sleeping next to me, but otherwise I was okay, except that my head hurt like hell." "Well, I guess that was because of the vodka, darling. So he explained everything to you?" Jess asked. "Oh, yeah he did." "Why have you been drunk when you got here?" Jess asked and Hilary sighed. "Ask Jeremy, he can tell you, I'm really not in the mood to explain that again." Jess nodded. "Okay, I will." Suddenly Hilary noticed her dirty clothes hanging over the bathtub. Jess recognized her look and laughed, looking at Hilary who was -of course- still wearing her pyjama. "I guess you want to go home?" "Yeah..."Hilary replied. "You need some clothes?" Jess asked and Hilary nodded thankfully. They went to Jess' room and picked out a jeans and a longsleeve for Hilary to wear before Jess attented her to the door. They said goodbye and Hilary hugged her. "Thank you for everything Jess" She just laughed. "No problem Hil. By the way, do you want to go to the movies with me and Jeremy tomorrow? We'll go there with a few friends." Hilary looked at her doubtfully. "I don't know...." Jess smiled. "You know what? Give me your number and I'll call you, then you can think about it, okay?" Hilary nodded, smiling. "Okay!" She gave Jess her number, said goodbye and drove home...

When she arrived at home, nobody was there. 'Like usually' she thought. After she found a note from her mum that said: "Hey sweetheart, we're out, shopping, won't be home until tonight, order a pizza if you're hungry, love, mum", she walked upstairs to her room wondering why in the world her family went out to go shopping at 8am . When she opened the door, her heart began to beat like crazy as she saw Scott sitting on her bed, looking at her with a friendly smile that looked totally unnatural on his face. He got up and started to walk around Hilary, staring at her, still smiling, but the expression in his eyes was serious. She got nervous. "Scott, baby, what are you doing here?" she asked sweetly. "Ohh...I'm waiting for you", he answered and before she could even ask, he answered her unsaid question as he said: "I got in through the window." Hilary nodded and tried to ignore the nervousness that came over her everytime she was alone with Scott. He kept on gazing at her. "So, where have you been?" he asked and she tried to act as normal as possible. "Ohh, I spent the night over at Jess' house", she replied and he raised his eyebrow. "Jess, huh? I guess her brother was there, too? You know, this...what was his name again?" "Jeremy", she said automaitc and he nodded. "Yeah...Jeremy...so, did you, you know, hang out with him or something?" She shook her head. "No baby, I didn't even talk to him, I slept in Jess room so I haven't really seen him or anything." Scott looked at her. "Do you like him?" he asked and as soon as he had finished the question, she knew what was going to happen, no matter what she would say. Hilary shook her head. "No, I mean I don't even know him Scott." He nodded and looked around for a moment before he started to speak again, now he wasn't smiling anymore, his voice was low and she could hear that it was shaking like everytime he was about to lose control. "Hilary, honey, do you remember how I asked you if you'd think I'm stupid?" She nodded and felt how fear built up inside her. "You said no...Well, obviously you changed your mind..." his voice grew louder. "Otherwise you wouldn't try to tell me this f*cking sh*t" He was screaming now and she started to back up a little. Scott grabbed her arm and pulled her towards him. "Do you really think I haven't seen the way you guys looked at each other at Jack's house?" he shouted into her face and she closed her eyes, scared to death. "But I-" Hilary started, but she knew that there wasn't anything she could say to calm him down now. He was freaking out. "Have you ever talked to him before?" he asked and she shook her head, not able to say anything. Her whole body was shaking for fear. Scott wrapped his hand around her throat and pressed her against the wall. "Answer my question, b*tch", he whispered. "No", she whimpered and tears began to roll down her face. "No, I haven't ever talked to him before" "And you better stay away from him. Otherwise...well, you know what's going to happen", he smirked and let go of her throat. She began to cough as suddenly her cellphone rang. Scott placed his finger on her lips to show her she should be quite and answered the phone. "Hello?" he said, looking at Hilary. "Ohh, hey Jess...no she isn't here, she's in the bathroom...to the movies? When?.....tomorrow night? Yeah, of course, we will be there....okay....yeah...okay, see you then, bye Jess" He hung up. "We'll go to the movies with Jess and her friends tomorrow night", he said. "Jeremy will be there, too", he added and Hilary nodded. "Oh" "I expect you to behave, honey" he said and she smiled through her tears. "I will, baby" "Great! And now that we resolved that, let's have some fun honey" he said smiling and pulled her to the bed. An hour later, Hilary laid next to the now sleeping Scott, only covered with a blanket, silent tears running down her face, falling onto the blanket in short gaps...

Three hours after Hilary had cried herself to sleep, she woke up by the sound of Scott walking around in her room, looking for his clothes. She looked at him sleepy and he noticed that he had woken her up. "Hey", he simply said and smiled at her coldly. As he opened his mouth to say something else, Hilary interrupted him. "Where are you going?" she asked and he shook his head. "You're just too nosey, honey", he laughed and she flashed him a fake smile. "I'm gonna hang out with Jack and the other guys. We want to play video games and tonight we'll go into that new club. I didn't think you'd want to come, I mean it's only me and the guys." Hilary opened her eyes to say something and he smiled, bent down to her and kissed her cheek. "Great! I knew you'd understand honey. Anyway, I gotta go now, I'll pick you up tomorrow around 8pm, okay?" Without waiting for an answer, he kissed her and rushed out of the house. Hilary pulled the blanket closer around her body and sighed. Getting out of the bed she decided to take a shower. She always did that after sleeping with Scott, not because she was very sweaty or something, she didn't have to do a lot except lying there with Scott on top of her and waiting for the whole thing to be over, but she felt dirty after it. Feeling the hot water splashing down onto her, she closed her eyes, trying to relax for a minute. On the one hand she was glad that Scott had gone, but now she was all alone in the big house, not knowing what to do. Plus, she was scared of tomorrow. She didn't even really know why, but she didn't like the thought of going to the movies with Jeremy and Scott. 'That's ridiculous. There's no reason to worry, everyone knows that I'm Scott's girlfriend, so does Jeremy. Plus, I'm not interested in him. Or am I?? No, I'm not. I mean, he's gorgeous....probably the hottest guy I've ever seen in my entire life...and he's sweet, funny, intelligent, charming...okay, stop it!' she told herself and tried to get Jeremy out of her mind. Suddenly, she heard the doorbell ring and sighed. 'Scott....I bet he's forgotten anything.' she thought and got out of the shower. After she had wrapped a towel around her body, she headed downstairs and opened the door. Surprisingly, she didn't see Scott standing in front of her, but Jeremy. "What are you doing here?" she asked amazed. Jeremy smiled at her and Hilary braced herself as she felt her knees getting weak again. "Ohh, I'm glad to see you, too, honey" he joked but suddenly she had a serious, cold look on her face. "Are you okay?" Jeremy asked confused and she stared at him for a moment. "Don't call me honey", she said but before he could answer she added: "Never again" "I'm sorry..." he replied, surprised by her sudden change of mood and she shook her head. "Come in" she simply said and he entered the livingroom. "Most of the girls I know like to get called honey, or baby or something like that" Jeremy said and Hilary motioned him to sit down on the couch. "Scott calls me honey all the time...I can't stand it", she answered quietly and sat down, too. "Plus, I'm not like most of the girls you know", she added but this time she was smiling. Jeremy laughed. "Oh, I've already figured that out" he answered and gazed into her eyes. He saw her moving on the couch a little bit and since he didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable, he decided to change the subject. "I didn't disturb you, did I?" he asked and Hilary laughed as she noticed Jeremy staring at the towel she had wrapped around her body. Her hair still was wet and she had waterdrops all over her body. "I was just taking a shower...I guess I better get some clothes" she said and he laughed. "No, no it's okay, I was just surprised you know, Jess told me she'd never seen you wearing a top or a skirt and now you're sitting in front of me only wearing a towel...." suddenly he stared at her as if he'd see her for the first time. "It's because of these bruises, right?" he asked and he already knew the answer. Hilary looked down for a second. "So, why are you here?" she asked and he sighed. "Oh, well, I forgot to give you this earlier." He reached her the small pink book and she looked at it in awe. "How-" "You remember how we talked and you put your stuff into the locker? It fell out and I found it on the floor later. I wanted to give it to you last night, but I forgot, so I thought I'd bring it to you" he said and she took the book. "Did you read it?" she asked and gazed at him. He hesitated for a seconde, then he shook his head. "No, I didn't" Hilary nodded. "Okay...Do you want something to drink?" she asked and Jeremy nodded. "A coke would be great" he answered and watched how she got up and walked out of the room.....

Hilary came back into the room five minutes later, wearing pink hotpants and a white tank top, holding two glasses of coke in her hands. Jeremy allowed himself to stare at her for a moment while she was about to sit down next to him. Her body was perfect, apart from the scratches and bruises all over her arms and legs. Averting his eyes from her legs, he noticed that she was reaching him the glass. Jeremy took it. "Thanks." He smiled at her sexily and Hilary almost dropped her glass. "Are you okay?" he laughed, seized the glass away from her and placed it on the table. "What? Me? Oh, yeah, everything is fine..." Hilary answered confused and blushed. Jeremy laughed but noticed that she felt a little embarassed. "So, I heard that you'll come to the movies with us tomorrow night?" he asked to change the subject and she nodded. "Yeah, Scott is coming too" He frowned. "Scott? Why?" Hilary laughed at his expression and shrugged. "Well, Jess asked him to. Plus, he's my boyfriend." Her voice sounded serious now and she wasn't smiling anymore as she thoght about Scott and how she would be supposed to act at the movies. Jeremy cleared his throat and looked at his glass. "Oh, right" he said and for a moment there was an awkward silence between them. Suddenly Hilary's cellphone began to ring upstairs and she jumped up. "My cell!" Followed by Jeremy, she headed upstairs to answer the phone. "Hello?" she said, staring at Jeremy as she noticed that he had followed her and was standing next to her bed now. Watching her, he recognized her smile drifting slowly and even though he wasn't sure hundred per cent, he thought that he could see something in her eyes that looked just like fear. "Ohh hey....At home....yeah and you?....ummm no, I'm all alone..." Jeremy stared at her. "Yeah....okay....I love you too.....bye" Hilary hung up and looked at Jeremy who was gazing at her with raised eyesbrows. "You're all alone?" he asked disbelieving and shook his head. "Why didn't you tell him I'm here?" he asked and she slowly went up to him. Standing in front of him, she stopped for a moment. "It isn't important, is it?" she asked coldly and felt sorry for saying it immediantely as she saw the hurt look on his face. She didn't mean to be like that but she knew that if she answered his question, she'd have to tell him her whole story and she wasn't ready for that. She'd never told anybody and she didn't intend to do it now. Not him, not anybody else. Jeremy stared at her for a minute, turned around and walked downstairs, slowly, not knowing what to say, neither what to do. Hilary followed him, thinking of how she could make things better without telling him anything he wasn't supposed to know. "Jeremy I'm sorry", she almost whispered and took his arm, standing next to him in the hallway now. "Sorry for what?" he asked. He was angry. More at himself than anything else. It made him furious that this girl he didn't even really know got him so caught up in confusion. On the beginning he wasn't THAT serious about the whole thing...yeah she was beautiful but he wasn't that kind of guy who believed in love at first sight. But now that he was thinking about it, he had to admit that he wanted her really bad. So much the worse it was for him that she just didn't want to reveal anything of herself to him, or even to anyone else. "Sorry for driving me crazy? You really should feel sorry for that because since the day I met you I've been acting as if I lost my mind. I don't even know why I am so into you, you're driving me insane with all these secrets you're keeping and all these lies you're telling. No wonder that you're always alone and by yourself when you don't let anyone see how you really are. And if this Jason really was your only friend, the only one who had ever really known you and accepted you as who you are, then you have a serious problem because obviously he isn't here anymore, is he?" his face was red from anger now and he suddenly realized what he had said as he saw that Hilary's eyes were filled with tears. "Get out of my house" she whispered, her voice was calm but he could hear that it was trembling with rage. 'What the heck did I just say?' Jeremy thought confounded. "Hilary, I-" "Right now!" she said and pointed at the door with a shaking hand. Jeremy knew that she couldn't talk to her right now and decided that it would be the best to leave her alone until she would have calmed down....
